IPA members have full access to the web site and the services of the IPA business consultant.  The member area has unique and special business related calculators to help member groups achieve the best possible economic goals.

The business consultant provides on site consultations to solve any issue a member group may be having.  There is not charge for intitial consultations, and member groups receive a discount for any ongoing or extensive consultation that may be required.

There is a business area of the member center that links members to business sites for advice and expertise.

Yes.  Pediatric Alliance IPA members must follow the Federal guidelines for IPA organizations against any antitrust activity on the part of IPA organizations.

Pediatric Alliance requires that those guidelines be followed to insure that all of the members achieve the goals of the organization.   A Member who may choose not to follow those guidelines will only serve to hurt the entire group and may cause the entire organization to be dismantled.

Members that do not adhere to the guidelines will be removed from the organization so as not to jeopardize the contract pricing of the other members.

How do we enroll in the Program? > Back to top of the page.
To enroll, new members need to contact us through the web site.

All independent practice organizations are controlled by Federal Law and guidelines for these types of organizations.  We have a limited enrollment quota established by the Federal Trade Commission.   This enrollment is based on a geographic area.  Once it is determined that an applicant is eligible and does not exceed the organizations geographic limitations, the applicant will be contacted for application.

After that initial contact, new applicants will be interviewed to make sure the member or group completely understands the strict Federal guidelines of an IPA.

Also, our Business Consultant will perform a financial analysis of the applicant to insure that it is economically feasible for an applicant to join. After that is completed, the application will be forwarded to the Board of the IPA for approval.
